Good stuff, fast delivery

I ordered the Roar Plus Electrolyte Powder in Berry Lemonade a little while back. It's a solid product, tastes good, and mixes well. I've been getting my hydration powders from Roar for a while now, and this one didn't disappoint. The shipping was also pretty fast, as usual. Got it in about 5 days, which is what I expect from them. They're consistent.

Decent drinks, took a bit long

I grabbed a case of the Cucumber Watermelon Hydration and some Mango Clementine. The flavors are pretty good, not too sweet like some other sports drinks I've tried, which is nice. I usually get Gatorade Fit, but wanted to try something different. This order took about a week to get here, which felt a little long, but it eventually showed up fine. Everything was packaged well. I might try their Roar Plus sometime.

Loved the Peach Hydration!

Got the Georgia Peach Hydration and it was so good! I'm usually picky with drinks but this was just right. Ordered a 12-pack and it arrived quickly, took about 4 days to get to my place in California. Definitely going to get more, maybe try a variety pack next. So glad I found this brand!

How does Roar compare to Liquid IV? I'm looking for something for workouts but don't want anything too sugary.

S Shane Vargas 1 month ago
Roar is way less sugary than Liquid IV, imo. I find Liquid IV to be a bit too sweet. Roar feels lighter.

D Dan 1 month ago
I switched from Liquid IV to Roar because of the sugar content. Roar definitely wins on that front. And the organic ingredients are a plus.

hey, anyone know if roar is like, actually keto friendly? i'm super strict with my macros and a lot of 'keto' stuff still has hidden sugars.

E Emma 2 months ago
Yeah, they use erythritol and stevia leaf extract, so it should be good. I've been using the Roar Plus powders for a while and they haven't kicked me out of ketosis.

I think their organic line might have a tiny bit more sugar from fruit, but the Roar Plus stuff is definitely marketed as keto friendly. Check the labels though, always smart to double check.

Is Roar sold in stores? Like, could I grab one at Target or something to try before buying a whole case online?

M Mia F. 1 month ago
Yeah, I've bought them at local health food stores. Some bigger grocery chains carry them too, just depends on your area.

Definitely saw it at Whole Foods the other day! Check their store locator on the website, it might be at Target too.

what's the deal with the 'plus' vs 'organic' versions? is one better than the other for just everyday hydration?

O Omar 2 months ago
The 'Plus' line has zero sugar and more electrolytes, usually in powder form. The 'Organic' drinks are ready-to-drink bottles, a little less intense on the electrolytes and have some natural sugars from fruit. For everyday, either is fine, just depends if you want zero sugar or don't mind a little.

Organic is probably more for general hydration and a nice taste, 'Plus' is more for intense workouts or when you really need those extra electrolytes without any sugar. I use the organic bottles when I'm out and about, and the plus powders after a run.

Can I use a discount code on the variety packs? Or are those excluded like subscriptions usually are?

F Faith 1 month ago
Nah, I've used codes on variety packs before, they usually work fine. It's mostly the subscription stuff that gets weird.

M Marcus Osei 1 month ago
Should be okay! Most codes apply to one-time purchases, and variety packs count for that.

Anyone tried returning an order? I'm a bit hesitant to buy a whole case if I don't like the flavors.

D Dana Okafor 1 month ago
I had to return some bottles once because my order was wrong and it was pretty easy. Just emailed them and they sorted it out. Don't think you can return open products though.

Returns were straightforward for me too. Just make sure everything's still sealed up.

do they have a student discount? trying to save some cash where i can.

M Marcus C. 2 months ago
Yep, I've used their student discount before! You usually have to verify your student status through some portal on their site.

Pretty sure they do. Check their FAQ or a link at the bottom of the page, that's where I found it last time.

Thinking of trying Roar, but I'm in Portland, Oregon. How long does shipping usually take to the West Coast?

R Rosa Foster 1 month ago
Mine took about 4-5 business days to get to Seattle last time. It wasn't super fast but not horrible either.

M Marcus Doyle 1 month ago
For me in LA, it's usually within a week. I'd say plan for 5-7 days just to be safe.
